The heart of any dog show lies in its exhibitors, dedicated individuals who proudly present their KCI-registered dogs on the esteemed platform. The judges' line-up was as follows:

  • Mario R. Magsaysay from the Philippines, Founding President of the German Shepherd Dog Association of the Philippines
  • Alex (Yu-Feng) Zee (Taiwan) - He was licensed to judge GSD in 1974 and qualified as an all-rounder in 1990. Since then he has judged in more than 30 countries.
  • Mr. Chua Ming Kok (Singapore): He has been an active breeder and exhibitor since the 1990s. Currently, he is the president of the Singapore Kennel Club and also VP of the Pets and Enterprises Traders Association of Singapore.

From Sheep Dogs to Sighthounds, from Dachshunds to Retrievers, every group had its moment in the spotlight, showcasing the grace, agility, and character of their respective breeds.

Beyond the competition rings, the event buzzed with many companies from across India setting up stalls, offering everything from affordable pet food to grooming essentials. Brands like Happy Pet, Virbac, Raden Foods, Dibaq, ABK Grooming, Royal Canin, Purple Tales, Right4Paws, and many more cater to the diverse needs of four-legged attendees and their discerning owners.

But perhaps the most heartwarming aspect of the Ooty Dog Show was the eclectic mix of attendees - from wide-eyed kids to seasoned veterans, from families with their beloved pets to solitary enthusiasts. A sense of camaraderie and shared passion pervaded the air, uniting dog lovers in a common celebration of canine excellence.

As the curtains drew to a close on another successful edition of the Ooty Dog Show, memories were etched, and bonds were forged. In the verdant hills of Ooty, the spirit of man's timeless companionship with dogs found its expression, reaffirming the quote - dogs truly are a man's best friend.

Conclusion

Beyond the competitions, the Ooty Dog Show was a celebration of all things dog. It was a place for families, breeders, and dog enthusiasts to come together and share their love for these furry companions. As the event wrapped up, it left everyone with wagging tails and heartwarming memories.
