CUPA


CUPA is a 31 year old Organisation and one the oldest in the country. It was Established 1991 with the mission to help the sick, the injured, the needy, the exploited, the handicapped and the starved. They care for a variety of animals which include dogs, cats, goats, cows, buffalos, donkeys and horses.


Compassion Unlimited Plus Action  was awarded the 19th Mahaveer Award under ‘Non-violence and vegetarianism’ category organised by the Bhagawan Mahaveer Foundation.


CUPA operates seven centres in Bangalore, Karnataka, addressing a range of issues.


  • Trauma & Rescue Centre provides free medical care for community animals
  • Geriatric Centre is a permanent retirement home for 60+ blind & senior dogs
  • Large Animal Rescue & Rehabilitation Centre (LARRC) offers rescue abandoned, sick & injured large working animals
  • Sarjapur Spay & Neuter Centre for sterilising dogs outside BBMP Limits
  • Second Chance Adoption Centre for abandoned pets & finding them a new home
  • Community Cat Sterilisation Facility
  • Small Animal Speciality Hospital for state-of-the-art pet care & grooming.

2. Humane Animal Society (HAS)


Humane Animal Society (HAS) was started in 2006 to address animal welfare in the city of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, and to carry out the critical function of Animal Birth Control (ABC). HAS is a public non-profit Organisation who believe that the power of compassion, love and kindness will make a meaningful and positive difference to the lives of the animals. 


In their ideal future, all animals will be able to claim their rightful position on Earth and there will be no more animal abuse or exploitation. They have been providing dogs and cats with  Animal birth control (ABC), Anti-rabies drives (ARV), Rescue, Shelter, Adaption, Fostering facilities and strive to rescue, treat, rehabilitate, feed, and love the animals that need us the most.

3. Blue Cross of Hyderabad
