The Living Emoji Cat: How Rexie Conquers Disability with a Smile!

Rexie, a three-year-old cat with an unstoppable spirit, is a true testament to resilience.

He's a meowdel and Instagram sensation with over 600k followers.

Despite a broken backbone that prevents him from using his hind legs, Rexie has embraced life with a playful personality and a remarkable range of facial expressions, earning him the title "The Living Emoji Cat"

Sadly, Rexie's journey began under tragic circumstances. Speaking to Bored Panda recently we found that mistreatment from his previous owners left him paralyzed, yet his current owner, Dasha Minaeva, has since given him a loving home.

With Dasha’s care, Rexie has adapted remarkably to his disability, managing most activities like other cats, though he still needs a little help with things like scratching his ears and using the bathroom.

Dasha, who also takes many photos of Rexie, describes their bond to Bored Panda as one filled with joy and positivity.
