Pet Fed Bengaluru 2024: A Celebration of Pets

The vibrant Pet Fed 2024 kicked off in style at the historic Jayamahal Palace, Bangalore providing a spectacular venue for pet lovers to come together and celebrate the unique bond between humans and their furry companions.

The event was thoughtfully organized into three sections: the Main Stage for key events and activities, the Indoor Catapalooza showcasing feline elegance, and the Open Lawns, featuring numerous stalls, food areas, and interactive spaces.

Proving to be an extraordinary two-day event, the 10th year of Pet Fed set new benchmarks for pet festivals in India. Sponsors included Drools, Farmina, Bowlers, Pet Star and Nimyle. Bigger, better, and greener than ever before, this multi-city pet festival brought together pet lovers, industry professionals, and furry companions for an unforgettable experience filled with fun, learning, and connection.

The introduction of free prams for small dogs added an extra layer of convenience for pet parents, allowing them to explore the event with ease. Pets wore tags indicating their friendliness, making it easier for interactions to remain safe and enjoyable.

Held across a sprawling 3 acres of festival bliss, Pet Fed Bengaluru 2024 was a one-stop destination for everything pets and pet care. From the moment attendees walked in, they were greeted with an electrifying atmosphere featuring over 100 global pet stalls, showcasing the latest in pet products, services, and innovations.

The event offered something for everyone, whether it was enjoying food and drinks with fellow pet parents or exploring the various activities tailored to entertain pets and their families. The stalls displayed everything from gourmet pet treats and stylish merchandise to innovative pet-care software. Adoption drives also offered a platform to promote rescue and rehabilitation efforts, underscoring the event's commitment to pet welfare.

The Main Stage buzzed with energy throughout the day. Exciting activities like musical chairs, a fashion show, obedience and tricks competitions, and more kept both pets and their parents entertained. Informative sessions on pet parenting provided valuable insights to attendees, while volunteers ensured smooth management and assistance across the venue.

Highlights of Pet Fed Bengaluru 2024

Expert-Led Master Classes: Attendees gained valuable insights from professionals on pet care, training techniques, and understanding pet behavior, empowering pet parents with knowledge to enhance their relationships with their furry companions.

Vet Sessions: Seasoned veterinarians from Cessna Lifeline, one of the best known vet hospitals in Bangalore, held informative sessions and check-up for all pets.

Exciting Play Zones: The dog and cat play zones were a hit, offering plenty of space and engaging activities for pets to run, jump, and socialize. Fun cat activities kept feline enthusiasts entertained, while dogs enjoyed testing their skills in the interactive zones.

Fashion Show: One of the most anticipated events, the pet fashion show, dazzled spectators on the second day as pets strutted their stuff in creative costumes, earning cheers and applause from an enthusiastic crowd.

Security Dog Show & Agility Ring: The security dog show showcased the incredible skills and training of canine protectors, while the agility ring brought out the best in athletic dogs, impressing everyone with their speed and precision.

Adoption Camps: True to its mission of promoting responsible pet ownership, Pet Fed Bengaluru organised adoption camps, where attendees could meet adorable pets looking for their forever homes. Many pets found loving families during the event, making it a truly heartwarming highlight.

Trick Roulette: Participants stepped up, spun the wheel, and showed off their dog's trick skills! With 12 exciting challenges to conquer, every successful trick earned them another spin.

Catapalooza: Backed by the Cat Club of India, this dedicated section was a true paradise for cats of all breeds and their proud pet parents. The area featured interactive play zones, and showcases of cat food and accessories, making it a haven for cat lovers to connect, learn, and celebrate their whiskered companions. A 36th, 37th, 38th and 39th International Cat Show was also organised. Cats from across India competed under the watchful eyes of judges, who marveled at the diverse breeds and exceptional grooming of the feline participants.
