On World Zoonoses Day, the GHMC veterinary department administered Anti-Rabies Vaccines (ARV) to 1,199 pet and stray dogs across Hyderabad, providing the shots free of cost.

Pet owners eagerly brought their pets to a Hyderabad veterinary hospital for the complimentary vaccinations.

The drive saw 617 dogs vaccinated in LB Nagar zone, 252 in Charminar, 115 in Khairatabad, 48 in Serilingampally, 58 in Kukatpally, and 109 in Secunderabad. This initiative highlights the city's commitment to combating rabies and protecting both animals and residents.
