Happy Huddle Bangalore: A Fun Day of Play and Learning!

One of the best ways for a pet parent to spend a Sunday is to get together with like-minded people in a safe environment and watch their puppers have the time of their lives. Happy Huddle - Bangalore gave some pet parents of the city such a chance on Sunday. 

Hosted in collaboration with Pet Warehouse, Pets First Hospital, and Chippi's Pet Boarding and Training, this pet-friendly extravaganza brought together 50 pet parents and 30 dogs for a sunny day packed with activities, health camps, grooming options, learning, and lots of happy barking and tail wagging.  

Breaking the Ice with Temptation!

The event kicked off with Temptation, an entertaining game designed to test (Really!?) the bond between dogs and their pet parents. It was a joy to watch as the pups eagerly (or hesitantly) resisted distractions or directions, showcasing their training and relationship with their humans.

Incredible Training Displays by Experts

Madhu Gowda, an expert dog trainer with 17 years of experience in CRPF dog training, wowed the audience with an impressive demonstration of obedience, agility training, sniff training, and assault training. He also demonstrated how narcotics detection worked which was very educational for all present. Pet parents got a glimpse into the incredible intelligence and discipline of working dogs.  

Valuable Insights from Dr. Pradip

Dr. Pradip, a veterinarian with over 40 years of experience, shared valuable insights on pet nutrition and responsible pet parenting. In fact, he took the time to speak one-on-one with every pet parent, addressing their specific concerns and ensuring that every pup got the best possible care. All pet parents went home with some useful information about their pups. 

Health and Wellness for All Pups

Apart from all the fun and frolic, a vaccination and deworming station was set up at the venue, providing free deworming for all the pets. This thoughtful initiative ensured that every furry friend left a little healthier than they arrived.

Splashing Fun in the Pool!

A doggy pool party never goes amiss! As the day progressed and temperatures soared, the dogs jumped into the swimming pool, splashing, playing, and making new furry friends. Watching them swim with pure joy was an absolute delight! Happy Pet founder Anil Reddy joined in the fun and spent his afternoon helping the pups in and out of the pool. 

A Feast for All

No event is complete without delicious food! As the dogs splashed about, or snoozed in the shade, their pet parents indulged in a lavish spread of vegetarian and non-vegetarian delights for lunch.  

Shopping Galore at Pet Warehouse

Pet parents also had the chance to stock up on pet supplies from the Pet Warehouse stall, enjoying special event-day discounts. Kruti Tailor, co-founder of Pet Warehouse, was thrilled by the response! "It’s always heartwarming to see pet parents come together for events like these. At Pet Warehouse, we love supporting such gatherings where learning, fun, and community-building go hand in hand."

Anil Reddy, founder of Happy Pet, addressed the audience, highlighting the importance of documenting pet details—including food, walks, and medication—on the Happy Pet Parent app. “Caring for a pet goes beyond love. it’s about responsible documentation and awareness. Our app makes pet parenting easier, ensuring every dog gets the care they deserve,” he stressed.

Looking Forward to More Happy Huddles!

Rithikaa Suresh, a Hosur resident who works with a startup in Bangalore, loved the event. A pet sister to two German Shepherds named Bhima and Rudra, this was Rithikaa’s first time at a pet event, and she couldn't be more thrilled! “I can't believe how much fun my dogs had at the Happy Huddle event! I never imagined my dogs would interact with other dogs so it was wonderful to see them having fun, making new friends, enjoying a swim in the pool, and indulging in treats,” she said while hugging a blissfully tired Rudra. “I'm looking forward to the next event.”

With so much excitement, knowledge-sharing, good food, and splashy fun, the event was truly a paw-some success. From pups to paparazzi, training to treats, and splashes to smiles, Happy Huddle - Bangalore was a day to remember.
